India has decided to strengthen its aerial might with the purchase of 12 new Sukhoi and 21 new MiG-29s. Also, a crucial India weapon system has been cleared for combat. The BrahMos air-launched cruise missile has received fleet release clearance paving the way for IAF to use the missile during combats.
